CLIENT SPOTLIGHT: DREAMS ON HORSEBACK

We were fortunate to sit down with Ellen from Dreams on Horseback to hear about their life-changing non-profit in this week’s Client Spotlight. Dreams on Horseback is a non-profit located in Blacklick, Ohio dedicated to helping people improve their lives through horse partnered learning. As Development and Marketing Director, Ellen's job is to promote Dreams on Horseback to raise awareness of the services they provide and to foster community support of those programs. She filled us in on how many lives they are impacting and gave us a rundown of their different programs.

"Dreams on Horseback has been helping Central Ohioans improve their lives since 2002. In 2017 alone, Dreams on Horseback provided over 12,000 participant hours of horse partnered learning. Each week we provide over sixty therapeutic riding lessons to children and adults with special needs. We provide vocational training for at-risk teens and young adults with autism spectrum disorders. We also host anxiety-reducing programs for adults with developmental disabilities and seniors living with Alzheimer's disease. Most recently we have created and implemented programs designed to meet the needs of active military and veterans."

This winter Dreams on Horseback opened an online store, where their employees, volunteers, and participants could go online and easily order custom apparel. Ellen was very pleased with the results.
